OLDER STUFF
Your first Watercolor Project is to practice all 3 introductory techniques to create a dynamic composition. Think back to the balance projects you just completed. Pick 1 type of balance to follow in you piece (Symmetry, Approx.Symmetry, Radial, Asymmetrical). Symmetry would be hard because of the organic way watercolor works! Paint your piece using ALL 3 new techniques. Dry it with a hair dryer and then go back in with a Sharpie or Pen and really define the details and outlines.
Criteria:
Composition MUST have Balance & you MUST label it on the back.
Use all 3 new techniques listed above.
Fill the page
Neatness counts
Pick an image that will allow you to show details in the end.
Sharpie or Pen the image to pull out details, contours, and outlines!
Name on paper.
Due at the end of class.
